Anand Seshadri is a highly accomplished pianist, composer, music educator, chamber musician, accompanist and orchestral music producer from Chennai, India. Despite graduating as an engineer, he pursued his ambition to become a Concert pianist and Composer. His musical journey began in Chennai with private lessons under the tutelage of Mr. Thangadurai Samuel and he received his LTCL in 2010.
At 21, Anand is the youngest musician to have completed the Master of Music in Piano Performance with distinction from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, UK. He studied under professors David Quigley and Katharine Lam.
Then he was awarded a place at the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, Hungary. At the academy, he studied under professors Jeno Jando (2013-2014) and Dr David Ball (2015- 2016). Anand went on to pursue further studies and graduated with his second Masters in Piano performance from Ithaca College, USA under the tutelage of Dr Charis Dimaras. Anand was awarded a full scholarship for his studies in the US. Anand has performed in India, The UK, Hungary and The US.
Performance area includes: Solo recitals, Chamber music recitals (duos, trios, etc.), accompanying singers, performing piano parts with orchestras, wind ensemble/symphony, choir, etc. His compositions usually reflect inner search, inner peace and meaning - Spirituality. As a music educator, he has mentored passionate students according to their needs and goals.

Contents of this channel include: own compositions, substantial piano pieces from western art music with explanations, music education videos (like How to l isten to art music?) , etc. Musical explanations include highlighting the themes, motifs, melodies, etc..
