Scary?: Own t houghts or t he external world?
Whenever we try to practice spirituality (or) even pursue our own passion/love (passion strictly within the ‘path of rectitude’ - more on this in upcoming posts), the world before us turns its
harsh side towards us. Why? Is it the people or the external world that scares us? Or an uncontrolled mind that scares us with confusions, questions, etc.?
It is obviously the second - an uncontrolled mind. How? Objects - be it people, things, etc. don’t
enter us directly (Neurological Science). So it is obviously the mental
imagery that creates this
confusion within.
How to tackle such situations within? The very f irst - we need to have a clear goal set within.
And then clear determination, strong zeal to attain/pursue it irrespective of the hurdles that will
be thrown at us in our quest. This creates a strong fort within. The more we strengthen this fort
with intellect, it can withstand adamantine walls of difficulties of any scale.
Every single enlightened individual (or successful person in worldly terms) has been through
enormous hurdles - disrespect, dishonour, poverty, physical assault, etc.
This fort helped them
cross this ocean of transmigratory cycle (or Samsara).
Peace.
